Bob is an innovate software services and technology entrepreneur with over 22 years experience in developing and growing technology and services based businesses. During that time Robert has built up and sold 6 such businesses and has also bought 6 businesses. Bob has a thorough understanding of “Key Value Drivers” of Software, Technology and Services businesses and has developed major turnaround strategies where appropriate in releasing value. Bob has managed on a “World Wide basis” with offices in England, USA and Japan. Bob’s companies have been selected on 2 occasions as East Anglian Regional Finalist by 3i in their “Quest for Growth Competition”.
Charlie Morrison OBE, CA, CCMI - Global Business Development
Charlie spent 28 years with IBM from 1976 to 2004 where he held a range of European, Corporate Management and Executive positions including running IBM’s largest Site in Europe at Greenock for five years from 1998 to 2002 and the company’s Worldwide Server Manufacturing operations . Latterly he was Vice President of IBM’s IT Global Service Delivery Division in Europe, based in Paris.
In 2008 he was awarded an OBE for Services to Industry and Economic development in Scotland. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute, and recently for 6 years was a Board member and Chair of the Finance and Operations Committees of Scottish Enterprise.
For the last 7 years, Charlie has been involved as a business angel and hands on entrepreuner investing in and managing various High technology ventures including software and recycling companies.
Non-Executive Directors
Alick Houstoun is the majority shareholder in Bryce Houstoun & Company (Holdings) Limited wherehe has been a Director for more than 30 years. With a skill set as an entrepreneur and serial angelinvestor enjoying a substantial track record of building value for companies in the technology andservices sector including taking them to a successful exit.
He has held a number of non-executive posts and has worked with several companies from theirinception to exit. At the moment, Alick is on the Board of five Scottish companies in a variety of sectors. He has worked closely with owner-managers of mid-market businesses in a diverse range of sectors on strategic and funding issues, turning over stones, making observations and formulating an independent view for many years.
Colin Grant is an experienced commercially aware finance director, with a background of working at boardlevel and now operating as an interim / non-executive director for a number of companies across all industry sectors. A strong record of successf in change projects, M&A activity, refinancing and fundraising. Continuously drives performance optimization, effective management and efficient financial control.
